Former MDC legislator Norman Mpofu has said the speaker of parliament Jacob Mudenda made a mistake by firing former MDC-T Vice President Thokozani Khupe from parliament considering the fact that the courts have said it is not clear which MDC-T is correct between Khupe and Nelson Chamisa factions.
Bulawayo High Court Judge Justice Francis Bere on Tuesday ruled that it is not clear which MDC-T is correct between the two and he can not making a ruling on whether to block Khupe from using the party name and logo or not.
"Clearly The Speaker of Parliament made a mistake when he fired Thokozani from Parliament. He complied to an instruction from a faction leader. The next obvious thing is to reinstate Thokozani," Mpofu said.
"Thus the legal implication of that court ruling so far. More could follow as that ruling was pregnant with far reaching implications and connotations. Lets wait and see.
The hunter could be the hunted in the foreseeable future."
