Detractors wasting time on fighting for MDC-T name

The MDC-T supporters have rapped party's detractors who are trying to run away with the name and logo of the party at a time when the party is preparing for elections saying this is meant to waste the party's time in fighting for the name yet Nelson Chamisa led MDC-T will contest the election under MDC Alliance.

"We are not moved by sideshows; the question of who can use or not use the name MDC-T has not yet been decided. The more pertinent question is who has the party, which naturally leads to who can claim use of the name," said the Chamisa led MDC-T.

"Whilst our name and symbols are important and we are confident that we will win this fight, we are very much aware of political hooliganism being brewed by our detractors which is meant to bring confusion and waste our time before the polls.

"We are going into the polls as MDC Alliance, so the name fight does not change anything. Let those who are sleeping with the enemy fool themselves. Our focus is on delivering change and hope to the masses. #weshallovercome #MDCAlliance #generationalconsensus."
