Zim's provincial governors hotel bills exposed

Seven provincial governors accumulated hotel bills close to $149 921 collectively within 9 months at Rainbow Towers, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
The shocking figures are contained in a report submitted to Parliament by Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Local Government, Rural and Urban Development.
The breakdown is as followers starting with the highest,
1.Mashonaland Central Governor Martin Dinha -$37 454
2.Midlands Governor Jaison Machaya -$28 823
3. Bulawayo Metropolitan governor Cain Mathema who commutes daily to Bulawayo for work from Tsholotsho has a bill of $25 823.
4. Masvingo Governor Titus Maluleke - $16 452
5. Matabeleland North, Sithokozile Mathuthu has $11 454
6. Matabeleland South Governor Angelina Masuku- $13 110
7. Manicaland Governor Christopher Mushohwe -$353
The committee said "Accommodation costs at the Rainbow Towers Hotel were also quite high as they amounted to the tune of $133 583. Your committee requested for a detailed breakdown on how such accommodation was incurred."
It is still not clear whether the governors booked themselves with other guests during their stay.
However, the committee added that the governors had at times booked themselves while carrying out Zanu-PF duties.
