Serial jail escapee Bongani Moyo back in court in May

Pretoria - Serial escapee Bongani Moyo and three others appeared on charges of armed robbery in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
SABC radio reported that Moyo, Leon Ncube, Khumbulani Sibanda and Thabani Sibanda would be back in court on May 4.
An application submitted to the National Prosecuting Authority was made to charge the four in terms of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act.
Moyo escaped from Boksburg Prison in March last year.
He was re-arrested near the Beitbridge border post in Limpopo, while making his way back into South Africa from Zimbabwe.
In August, he walked out of the Pretoria Magistrate's Court while on crutches.
He and co-accused Themba Dube and Khumbulani Sibanda attempted to escaped from the Pretoria prison on March 14, using their orange overalls to scale the wall.
A newspaper vendor saw them breaking out and raised the alarm.
They had been charged with several counts of armed robbery.
