Norton member of Parliament Temba Mliswa has thrown his weight behind ZANU PF presidential candidature Emmerson Mnangagwa saying he should be allowed a full term.
Mliswa also said Mnangagwa is aware of the G40 criminals who attempted to infiltrate the revolutionary party with money hence he shall deal with them. "I feel that ED should be allowed a full term to get things right&then allow a younger leader to take over.
It's good that he's aware that "G40 criminals" have attempted to infiltrate the Party with their money n that they'll be dealt with," said Mliswa via micro blogging Twitter.
He further revealed that he supported Mnangagwa's ascendancy to the presidency after former president Robert Mugabe and him not supporting ED would be tantmount to hypocrisy though he is not forcing people of his constituency to support Mnangagwa.
"I supported ED's ascendancy after RGM, there's no reason l should be a hypocrite¬ support him now.
"That's my personal view &doesn't mean I'd force it on Norton as everyone has their own opinihypocris In what appearers to be a contradictory stance Milswa said he also realised the need for a generational mandate.
"It also doesn't mean l don't encourage the generational mandate through Chamisa."
Mliswa's sentiments do not come as a surprise to many as the outspoken legislator has in the past voiced his support and admiration for Mnangagwa.
