Mazowe North ward 4 councillor Michael Mutopa was dresseed down  by ZANU PF Mashonaland Central provincial leadership at a rally in Mvurwi today for allegedly plotting to sabotage the winning aspiring Member of Parliament Campion Mugweni.

Mutopa who is not new to controversy was made to stand up in front of the crowd by politburo member Kenneth Musanhi who asked him to give a hand shake to Mugweni in support of his candidature.

"Where is cde Mutopa please stand up and come here we all know your shenanigans but we are here to remind you that ZANU PF is bigger than you, cde Mugweni there is your MP and you are mandated to rally behind him," bellowed Musanhi amid thunderous applause.

Mutopa is being accused of working closely with Minister of State for Mashonaland Central advocate Martin Dinha in sabotaging Mugweni and plotting bhora musango.

Unsurprisingly, Dinha failed to show up again at the  event which was graced by a high powered provincial delegation . Big wigs in attendance included the Minster of Agriculture (Rtd) Air Chief Marshall Perence Shiri, provincial chairman Kazembe Kazembe and politburo member Kenneth Musanhi.

Dinha reportedly sent an apology via a text message that was read out by Kazembe prompting the crowd to boo at the apology.

Contacted for comment by this reporter Dinha professed ignorance before threatening to sue this reporter for writing negatively about him.

"For the first time you have contacted me you once attributed a comment that I did not give, you wrote about me chasing widows yet there is a high court order, if I sue you will you be able to pay me?

As for the rally I failed to attend so what infact that is nonsense," he said before hanging up.
