Mnangagwa to open Davipel food company

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is the guest of honour at the official opening of Davipel food company in Sunway Park, Ruwa, in Harare this morning.
The company comprises two entities Davipel which manufactures corn snacks and Agrimilling which produces the raw material for Davipel.
The total value of the investment is US$8 million.
The corn snacks manufacturing company is saving US$500 million from the import bill every month through the value addition of Zimbabwean maize for the production of snacks supplying the local market which had been inundated with foreign-made snacks in supermarket shelves.
