Vice President Kembo Mohadi has ridiculed the opposition MDC and compared them to jackals and fools who should be ignored in the looming election.
Addressing a poorly attended rally in Mbire district Mohadi dismissed that ZANU PF is a junta government but insisted it is led by war veterans.
"Do not be deceived by MDC and many other little parties they are just like jackals good at barking, ZANU PF is greater than everyone and every part, instead do not waste your time on fools," thundered Mohadi.
"People call us a Junta government because of the new dispensation but let me put this clear we are war veterans who fought for your freedom."
Mohadi said he was not a stranger in Mbire as he was part of the guerrilla warfare at kampalanji.
"I am not a stranger here during the liberation struggle l was at Kampalanji where we gunned down eight white regime helicopters.
The Vice president also ridiculed MDC Alliance presidential candidature for promising spaghetti roads and bullet trains instead of giving people food.
"Now we see the opposition is busy promising bullet trains and spaghetti roads yet people are hungry at least ZANU PF has promised and fulfilled in giving you food ."
Apparently, Mbire is the second largest constituency in Mashonaland Central after Rushinga and surprisingly few people attended the rally in the ZANU PF dominated area.
