Award-winning Harvard-trained Zimbabwean journalist and Documentary Filmmaker Hopewell Chin'ono said, "I m yet to read the MDC Manifesto but looking at this picture, I can only say that women have to wage their Chimurenga. This is a problem in our national politics. Out of all the ZANU-PF candidates running for parliament, only 22 are women. That is a sad statistic."
