Man intercepts text message from boyfriend, wife drinks poison, dies

A 46 years old woman, Ellinet Fusire, from Chipunza village under Chief Makoni reportedly took her own life by drinking poison after her husband, Albert Nyakujipa, intercepted a text message which was sent by her boyfriend.
Manicaland deputy police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Luxon Chananda said Fusire received a text message from an unknown boyfriend but it was intercepted by her husband.
The two started exchanging words until the situation degenerated into a heated argument.
The following morning Nyakujipa went to the fields leaving the now deceased asleep. He later returned home and found his wife vomiting and complaining of stomach pains.
Fusire was rushed to Ringanai clinic where she was pronounced dead on admission.
