Guruve South legislator Patrick Dutiro has been accused of abusing ZANU PF fuel and forcing transporters to bus people to President Emmerson Mnangagwa's tour at Eureka mine on Wednesday.

Transporters who spoke to Bulawayo24.com said they were coerced to bus people to the function by the legislator and promised to get fuel as compensation of their service which they struggled to get afterwards.

"We were ordered to ferry people to Eureka mine by Dutiro and were promised fuel in return but surprisingly after the function a ZANU PF vehicle which was carrying petrol did not give any transporter instead we were told to queue for diesel  at Mine pumps," lamented the source.

Contacted for comment Dutiro distanced himself to party issues and said he deals with constituency issues.

"I do not issue fuel for state or party functions, l deal with constituency issues," said Dutiro.

Apparently, the legislator is accused of having duped other motorists at a rally held in his constituency at Mdindo growth point recently.
