A city man had a brush with law after he assaulted two self proclaimed prostitutes in a dispute over payment for the service that he had been rendered last Friday. The man was only identified as Emmanuel and was taken to the Fife Avenue Police Post following the melee.
The complainants were the two self confessed prostitutes who only identified themselves as Nancy and Lydia. Emmanuel allegedly hired Nancy and was charged $5 for the services at Fintra Court in the Avenues area.
"We agrees that he pays US$5 and all seemed well until we were done," lamented Nancy.
Emmanuel is alleged to have refused to pay for the sex service saying that he was rushing to work.
"He said he was rushing to work without considering that I was also at work. I had to call my room mate Lydia who came to assist me," narrated Nancy.
Lydia is said to have searched Emmanuel's pockets and took US$5 prompting Emmanuel to thoroughly bash the two thigh vendors. When we arrived at the scene, a group of people at the two sex workers' flat was mobbing Emmanuel and he was saved from mob justice by a female police officer who then took him to Fife Avenue Police Post.
"Inotambika muhupenyu mumwe wangu (Such things happen in life my friend)," Emmanuel said.
