MDC Alliance says the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) has designed a biased ballot paper which favours Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zanu-PF to win the election.
MDC Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa over the weekend said he was not pleased with the layout of the ballot papers on which he was placed on the left side just opposite Emmerson Mnangagwa a move he said was meant to confuse the electorate into voting for Mnangagwa.
"If we do not agree on ballot papers there will be no elections this year, I was told that our party members were not given time to witness the printing of papers, hence tomorrow I am going to see Chigumba and Mnangagwa if we do not agree on that there will be no elections," bellowed Chamisa amid thunderous cheering.
The MDC Alliance had tabled a demand that the ZEC should ensure ballot papers for the forthcoming presidential election have names arranged in alphabetical order beginning with surnames.
