Easter onset results in 10 deaths in over 85 road accidents

Ten people have died and 83 others injured in over 85 accidents recorded by the ZRP at the onset of the Easter holiday, the Zbc reported on Good Friday.
Press and Public Relations Officer in Charge Inspector Blessing Chishak attributed the accidents to speeding.
Inspector Chishaka said police have impounded 138 vehicles which were not registered while the others were defective, and issued 3 952 tickets so far.
The police spokesperson urged motorists to exercise caution and to desist from using defective and unregistered vehicles.
