Chamisa never withdrew the case - Mpofu

Senate Candidate and close associate to MDC-T President Nelson Chamisa, Bekithemba Mpofu has dismissed media reports that his boss withdrew the case of party logo and symbol against Thokozani Khupe faction indicating that  he only said the matter is no longer urgent as they have gone into the election as MDC Alliance.

Reports obtained from the Khupe faction states that Chamisa MDC-T withdrew the case from the High Court roll.

"For the record Chamisa never withdrew the case. He just confirmed that it was no longer an urgent case. This is a fact we have all known since 14 June when we decided to fully focus on the MDC Alliance name," Mpofu said.

This comes after reports that Khupe faction is claiming $1,8 million from Chamisa party.
