Alarm has been raised that rigging of this year's elections has started as the members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police who will be on duty during the polls have started casting their postal votes.
A source close to the police indicated that the members of the service were being intimidated as they are made to vote in front of their bosses.
The source said police officers started voting today ahead of July 30 elections in various stations amid fears they were not freely exercising their electoral right. The sources said only Police Headquarters officials were supervising the polls and there were no observers.
More details are yet to be obtained on the process.
