Chigumba will plunge elections into dark hole - Norman Mpofu

Former Bulilima East legislator who is currently contesting the seat as an independent Norman Mpofu has said Zimbabwe Electoral Commission Chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba will plunge these elections into a dark hole.
The remarks come in the wake of Chigumba having stood her ground to say ZEC is done with the ballot papers which are being contested by the MDC Alliance. The MDC Alliance demanded that they be allowed to be present during the printing process but ZEC has refused to do so.
"A strong perception is solidifying that she is a small house if one of the candidates. I strongly support Chamisa on his stance on ZEC. Zanu pf and ZEC are twin evils. They must be exposed," Mpofu said.
"At some point the nation believed Mugabe was gone and things will positively change electorally only to discover nothing has change other than the substitution of Mugabe by Zanu pf. The only thing that has changed is the degree of deceit Its now worse. The level of vote buying has gone up. The militarisation of institutions has gone up. The entire world has been fooled by Mnangagwa.
If elections have to be postponed in order to create a conducive environment for the people to vote freely be it."
