Chigumba must ensure level playing field, full stop!

Political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has warned that what is needed from Zimbabwe Electoral Commission Chairperson Priscillah Chigumba is a fair and free election.
"All we want from Justice Chigumba is fair play. I don't agree with people who discuss her private life. Her private life is not an electoral matter. Lets hold her accountable on things that we have proof like BVR, army interference, security of ballot and all sensitive election materials," Ruhanya said.
"We risk giving oxygen to a discredited ZEC chair by moving into misogynic and unhelpful characterisation of women. Chigumba's incompetence and lack of independence is now a matter of public record and we must address those issues without entering into Stone Age attacks against women."
