Woman in trouble for assaulting hubby's mistress

A Gokwe woman severely assaulted her husband's mistress after she finding the two "love birds" in a compromising position.
Rumbidzai Mukwayi was convicted on her plea to assault charges by Binga resident magistrate Stephen Ndlovu on Wednesday.
She was sentenced to three months in jail but the magistrate suspended the whole sentence on condition that Mukwayi performs 105 community service at Sinamsanga Primary School in Binga.
On 16 March, Mukwayi (28) reportedly caught Primrose Ncube with her husband and the mistress ran away.
The following day, Mukwayi confronted Ncube at her home in Sinampanga in Binga before dragging her out of her bedroom and punched her repeatedly. Mukwayi later armed herself with a stick and struck Ncube on the right leg.
Mukwayi was restrained by a neighbour before reporting the matter to the police.
