In three months time, the world's most expensive and fastest car, Bugatti Veyron will be rolling in the streets of Zimbabwe and Harare to be precise.
The man with the capacity to bring such wheels into the country is none other than flamboyant buysinessman and philanthropist Philip Chiyangwa. The car carries with it a massive 2,4 million dollar price tag.
Breaking the news, Chiyangwa added that what he does with his money are NOT publicity stunts but whenever he helps, he will be doing it with a genuine heart for the poor.
"I know some people made noise when I gave out cash recently at MSU (Midlands State University) but you know, that was a genuine thing that I did. I know some parents fail to provide for their kids at University so all I was doing that day was to help them.
Many people whenever they see me they think of money. I don't make promises to people but I act. I don't operate on credit, handingofambe ndichiti ndichakuitirai zvakati, but I prove that I can do and I do it," he said.
Chiyangwa went on to say: " There are some businesspeople who also give whenever they can, like Bill and Melinda Gates but no one criticises them, so as for me, I do what I can in a small way to help the poor. To show that I let my money speak for itself, I will be bringing in a Bugatti Veyron into the country and you know I will be the first person to do that in Zimbabwe and the third in Africa. I want my family to enjoy the fruits of my toil, so as I'm talking to you right now, the deal is in progress."
The businessman close confidante Chamu Chiwanza revealed that indeed the property mogul will be bringing in the world's fastest car into the country. However figures for the deal could not be disclosed.
