Masarira ask Mnangagwa to remove soldiers from street

Thokozani Khupe's ally and party spokes woman Linda Masarira has requested president Emmerson Mnangagwa to remove soldiers from the streets who are reportedly on the rampage of harassing citizens in various high density suburbs of Harare .

"@edmnangagwa you said the voice of the people is the voice of God.

"We Zimbabwean people are humbly requesting for the removal of the army from our streets.

"Soldiers should stop harrasing and insulting innocent civilians forthwith."

We want peace and unity," tweeted Masarira. It however remains to be seen if the President will restore order among members of the armed forces who are marauding around areas close to the capital and causing a torrid time amongst civilians accusing them of voting for the opposition.
