Former Zanu PF politburo member Jonathan Moyo has said President Elect Emmerson Mnangagwa's tweet that the MDC Alliance principal Tendai Biti's release from police custody was through his intervention exposes that he interferes with the court processes which is unconstitutional.
Biti who was deported from Zambia where he had gone to seek asylum was released yesterday by the courts which granted him $5000 bail.
Mnangagwa tweeted that, "Tendai Biti was released earlier today following my intervention. At such a crucial time in the history of the new Zimbabwe, nothing is more important than unity, peace and dialogue."
Moyo tweeted "Delete this unpresidential tweet whose only value is your confirmation that you do indeed interfere with court decisions. So, tell us, will you intervene in the election petition in the ConCourt? Meanwhile, note that Biti doesn't need your intervention. He has no case to answer!"
