Political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has said the Zimbabwe Electoiral Commission official Joice Kazembe has been a common denominator of the disputed election s in Zimbabwe since 1996.
The remarks come in the wake of the just ended elections in which MDC Alliance President Nelson Chamisa is disputing the victory of Emmerson Mnangagwa.
"Since the 1996 disputed presidential election by the late Rev Ndabaningi Sithole, arrogant ZEC commissioner Letitia Joyce Kazembe has been a constant and uninterrupted member of the electoral management body. She was there in the 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2013 and now 2018 elections," Ruhanya said.
"Kazembe has been a common denominator of disputed pools in Zim elections for 22 years. Who exactly is this madam and what's so special about her? She has endorsed the most violent of all these elections, the 2008 presidential run-off as free and fair!"
