Habakkuk Trust director Dumisani Nkomo has said the response from the army and state concerning the Harare killings is indeed disappointing.
This was after the military disowned the soldiers attacking people at various locations in Harare after the announcement of the presidential results on August 2.
"They are not taking responsibility for the loss of human lives as indeed they have consistently failed to in terms of the thousands killed and maimed during Gukurahundi," Nkomo said.
"Are we open for business when we can't be responsible for out actions .Mature and responsible leadership and statesmanship calls for people to account for their actions .Somebody somewhere must account and failure to do so will be one of the catastrophic blunders made by this administration. IF it was in other parts of the world somebody would have resigned instead of pushing blame to others."
