A HARARE man is at loggerheads with his landlord who relieves himself at his doorstep.
The matter came to light at the Harare Civil Court where Andrew Ngwena applied for a protection order against Francis Tinarwo accusing him of emotional abuse.
"This man here is my landlord, he locks up the toilet doors which is making me and my family uncomfortable.
"He also put raw human waste at my doorstep which you all know is very disturbing.
"My family has no access to the water taps as he also locked them. Your Honour, if you can help me so that my landlord stops all this abuse," said Ngwena.
In response, Tinarwo said he did all that because Ngwena was not paying his rentals.
"I did what I did out of anger. Ngwena does not pay his rentals.
"He will not leave the house until he has paid up my money," said Tinarwo.
Presiding magistrate Tafadzwa Miti granted the protection order in Ngwena's favour.
