MDC Alliance Bulawayo spokesperson Felix Mafa Sibanda has said the British are not qualified to commend President Emmerson Mnangagwa over his appointment of the commission of inquiry into the August shooting indicating that the former coloniser is ignorant of the internal affairs.
This was after Britain hailed Mnangagwa for the move to appoint a commission.
"It is unfortunate that the British envoy is not very well versed of ZANU PF cruelty since its formation in 1963 to date.We are not comfortable by her statement because the terms of reference to that commission is insensitive indeed for not asking who commended the rogue soldiers to shoot and kill in armed civilians.
"This is highly dangerous to the civilians became Zimbabwe is partially a military state hence democracy is eroded," Sibanda said.
"We are calling the UK administration to be cautious of statement that are counterproductive."
