Jilted lover commits suicide

A JILTED Chipinge man allegedly committed suicide last week after being dumped by his girlfriend for promiscuity.
Manicaland police confirmed yesterday that Tariro Manyokowere (28) from Chief Mutema village in Chipinge allegedly drank a poisonous substance and died on August 30, following a wrangle with his girlfriend, who accused him of being promiscuous.
Manicaland police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Luxon Chananda urged members of the public to solve their problems amicably and to seek advice from third parties.
"In this matter, if they had sought help from third parties like traditional leaders, church leaders, or even the police, this matter could have been resolved," he said.
