Dabengwa to launch book one of the Zambezi Trilogy, 'The Horn' by Jill Baker

Zapu leader Dumiso Dabengwa will be launching book one of the Zambezi Trilogy, 'The Horns' written by Jill Baker on September 14 at the Bulawayo Theatre.
An invitation to the event indicates that The Horns through fictionalizing history contains some important appendices as well such as the Rudd Concession, The Lippert Treaty, the decisions which were taken about the fin din g and non- disclosure of Lobengula's grave, it also contains the visits of Chiefs Babayana and Mbigo to Queen Victoria and finally the Unilateral Declaration of Independence by Ian Smith.
"It contains the history of Matabeleland narrated from oral history. Jill was born on the same day as Dumiso Dabengwa and in the novel brings out the story of their childhood," reads the invite.
