Former Zanu PF politburo member Jonathan Moyo has said former President Robert Mugabe and his family have a right to associate with who ever they want after questions were posed by tweeter users as to what position he (Moyo) and Mugabe' nephew Patrick Zhuwao after the retired leader endorsed President Emmerson Mnangagwa as legitimate.
"How does that inane thought even arise? I'm not their child or a minor. Everyone is entitled to freedom of association, as a natural & constitutional right. The Mugabes are free to associate with whomever they choose. Last month it was Chamisa, this month it's Mnangagwa. Cool!," Moyo tweeted.
This was after Ranga Mataire tweeted saying, "Now that Grace Mugabe and Uncle Bob have embraced and endorsed ED, what becomes of Patrick Zhuwao and Jonathan Moyo?"
Ashley Mavhatu also said "So if Mugabe and Grace endorse Mnangagwa, there is no problem. If they endorse Chamisa, he wants to bring them into government. San a doctor amai vakudzoka mu government here."
