Former MP Mandipaka fails to pay $7 000 debt

It never rains but pours for former . Soon after losing his bid to retain Buhera West Constituency, Mandipaka has been slapped with a $7 143, 28 lawsuit after failing to settle a debt with Croco Motors.
Mandipaka serviced two of his Ford Ranger vehicles whose registration numbers are ADA 3037 and ADI 9203 between October 2016 and February 2017 but failed to settle the bills.
He was dragged to court over the debt at Murambinda and the magistrate ruled in favour of Croco Motors after Mandipaka failed to turn up for the hearing. Croco Motors was represented by lawyers from Magwaliba and Kwirira.
The Court heard that Mandipaka was duly served with the summons which commenced action on May 21, 2018, the time for appearance to defend having expired the defendant did not enter the appearance to defend himself.
