Mnangagwa and Mugabe are both puppets of the military

Political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has described President Emmerson Mnangagwa and former President Robert Mugabe as both puppets of the military.

"Both Mugabe and Mnangagwa were given power by military force and violence. They are both puppets of the military. "He lost election in March 2008 and was retained by the army in June 2008 only to be removed by the army in Nov 2017. Mnangagwa was installed by the army in November 2017 and August 2018. Elections in Zimbabwe are therefore elections without democracy under military tutelage. The army is ubiquitous in Zim's public and electoral affairs as shown by this corpus of evidence!"
