Belarus envoy delivers special message to Mnangagwa

Head of the Belarus Presidential Affairs Mr Viktor Sheiman has delivered a special message to the President Emmerson Mnangagwa congratulating him on the victory in the just ended elections and inviting him to Belarus.
President Mnangagwa also received a gift of a sword which was designed and crafted by a Belarus artist with two lions engraved on both ends of the sword depicting his Shumba totem and President Mnangagwa's favourite slogan "Pasi Nemhandu".
President Mnangagwa expressed his gratitude for the invitation and for the gift saying the engraving on the sword shows President Lukashenko's deep knowledge of the President and is a sign of the good relations between Zimbabwe and Belarus.
President Mnangagwa said he will find a suitable time to visit Belarus as he is currently preparing for the United Nations General Assembly.
Mr Sheiman arrived in Harare this morning on a follow up mission of his visit in February this year.
Zimbabwe and Belarus cooperation is in the economic sectors of agriculture, mining and energy development.
Belarus also has a thriving agricultural sector that produces for itself and exports to other European countries.
Agriculture and industry form a large part of the Belarus economy.
