It is over a month after the country held its harmonised elections but campaign posters are still visible in most of the country's cities and political parties have been urged to remove them.
It is against this background the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) is urging political parties to remove all political campaign posters and make the environment clean.
EMA Acting Environmental Education and Publicity Manager, Mr Rambwayi Mapako said it is high time the nation should work towards restoring the country's clean face.
"Election time is over so we encourage all political parties to engage volunteers and work together in removing the campaign posters which they put on walls and trees," he said.
He added that as EMA, they are ready to work with all political parties in removing the posters and urged local authorities to engage the political stakeholders to put hands together in making the city clean.
