Bata sues former employee

Zimbabwe Bata Shoe Company has dragged former employee to court for refusing to vacate the company house after termination of contract.

Summons were filed against Justine Mapfumo at Bulawayo High Court.

The company want him evicted from the premises and for him to pay $2 350.

The summons states that the company seeks eviction of Mapfumo from the company house and to pay the outstanding rental arrears.

Mapfumo has not yet responded.
