MDC Alliance secretary general Douglas Mwonzora has said President Emmerson Mnangagwa's recent promise to allow diasporans to vote  must be treated with suspicion considering the fact that the same were not allowed to vote in the July 30 elections.

Mnangagwa said the government will the the future elections allow people in the diaspora to vote.

"The promise by @edmnangagwa for government to allow the Diaspora Vote must be treated with suspicion unless the government immediately establishes facilities to enable the "Diasporians" to register to vote as part of the ongoing voter registration process," Mwonzora said.
