National Patriotic Front spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire has said the step taken by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to suspend top management over allegations of parallel market trade has exonerated him from the planned lawsuit, which the bank was planning against him after he exposed the rot.
Mawarire recently said the parallel market which destroyed the economy of the country emanated from the RBZ with top officials and President Emmerson Mnangagwa's son being involved.
"When I said the RBZ was involved in the US$ parallel market trade, the bank threatened me with a US10 million lawsuit on 30 April 2018, but today, 22 October 2018, the same RBZ suspended senior staff members on same allegations.Still consulting my lawyers on next action. #Hokoyo," Mawarire tweeted.
