Former MDC legislator Norman Mpofu has hailed government for allowing citizens to purchase basic commodities from outside the country and the shortage of basic goods started to escalate and black market started thriving.
"This is a good move . Citizens are now allowed to bring certain goods from out side the country. This will allow to bring cheaper products from outside the country and avoid local shops with high prices," Mpofu said.
"Things like cement now allowed to be brought in without a permit will allow young people to build their homes. This move by the government is greatly appreciated."
