The farming inputs such as fertilizer and maize seeds prices have escalated to unbearable levels as the farmers prepare for the farming season this year.
The increases come at a time when the country' economic situation continues to nose dive few months after Zanu-PF and president Emerson Mnangagwa were declared overwhelming winners of the July 30 elections which are disputed by the MDC Alliance as having been rigged.
A 25kg bag is maize seed is now costing $251 in some shops a development which most communal farmers said they can not afford.
The tumbling rate of bond notes show signs that it has adopted almost the style of the bearer cheques which lost rate almost every minute if not hour in 2008.
