Some people do not want economic change, says Erick Knight

Former ZBC presenter Eric Knight has said some Zimbabweans do not want the economic situation in the country to improve because they are benefiting a lot from the suffering of citizens.

"There are 4 types of Zimbabweans today. There is the type that genuinely want the country to do well and prosper so that they will live a better life and are concerned about the welfare and future of their loved ones.. There is the type that do not want the status quo to change because they are benefitting and would want things to remain as they are because if Zimbabwe recovers then their evil shenanigans come to and end," he said.
 
"The third type is the one who want the government to fail in any effort and will criticise and discourage even any positive effort, simply because they hope when the government fails, the citizenry will be angry and then that will boost their own selfish chances or those they wish to be the ones in government.
The fourth type is the one that has given up any hope and dont care at all about whatever happens and will watch from afar and believe in the so long life dogma. Which one are you..no need to answer."
