Mnangagwa opens PROdairy plant

President Emmerson Mnangagwa is officiating at the official opening of PROdairy plant at the Ruwa Industrial Park, near Harare, this afternoon.
The plant started operations in May 2017, producing different milk varieties ranging from ultra high temperature milk, sterilized milk and cultured milk, to mention but a few.
The plant is currently at 70 percent capacity utilisation, producing two and half million litres a month.
The plant also produces dairy blend beverages and recently started producing Maheu.
The company aims at achieving 100 percent capacity utilisation by end of the current financial year.
Zimbabwe needs about 10 million litres of milk per month but is only producing half of its requirements and is importing from other neighbouring countries and from abroad.
