Zimbabwe courts Turkish Airlines and British airline Virgin Atlantic

The government is courting international airlines with positive attitude from Turkish Airlines and British airline Virgin Atlantic, who have hinted on introducing a flight schedule between London-Harare in the second quarter of next year.

The Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Prisca Mupfumira is confident that arrivals from Britain will significantly improve within the next five years supported by intensive visibility and improved perception on the country's brand.

The Tourism Ministry is riding on the open business mantra to garner for more investments with the latest onslaught being the forthcoming World Travel Mart to be held in the United Kingdom from the 5th to the 7th of November.
