Prison officer dragged to court over maintenance

A Bindura prison officer was dragged to Guruve magistrate court yesterday by his estranged girlfriend for failing to look after their minor child.
Password Machona appeared before Guruve resident magistrate Shingirai Mutiro on maintenance claim.
Vision Chayambuka is claiming $80 for the upkeep of their child while the latter is offering $30 saying he earns $125 net salary.
"Your worship l have four children with my wife three of them are at school and l am paying $45 per child every term above all l earn $616 but on net salary l am only getting $125 so please just allow me to pay $30 for my child," lamented Machona.
The magistrate remanded the matter to tomorrow for judgement.
