Exiled Former G40 kingpin has revealed for the first time that he resigned from ZANU PF on the 8th of November the day when President Mnangagwa skipped the country alleging Mugabe wanted to kill him.

Prof. Moyo was responding to a statement by academic Mziwandile Ndlovu who had said, "At this time last year Prof J.N. Moyo,  Hon_Kasukuwere,  Patrick Zhuwao and comrades had their tails in the air, about to deliver the knockout punch and share the political spoils. But then it all went south quickly. Take nothing for granted. In this life, anything can happen."

Moyo was quick to respond, "One day, maybe sooner rather than later, your fairy tale will be sobered by the discovery of the excruciatingly painful and tragic reality of the time. For now, just know that the period 1 Dec 2014 to 24 Nov 2017 was hell. On 8 Nov 2017, I drafted a resignation letter. I wanted out!"

His statement was taken with a pinch of salt by Twitter users. One Kuda Mugabe questioned Moyo, "was it shared with anyone? The energy you were using to fight ED and supporters doesn t speak of someone who wanted out."

"History never allows such things to pass unwitnessed! Don t imagine even for a moment that I wanted to resign in sympathy with Mnangagwa. Never. And he called and branded himself a border jumper. The true story is known. Anyhow, don t ask me how I felt about or for him and his shenanigans as if he was the yardstick or paragon of virtue!" Said Moyo

Professor Moyo, Patrick Zhuwawo and Saviour Kasukuwere are yet to divulge intricate details of their great escape on 15 November when military personnel shot their way through their homes.
