The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission commissioner in charge of investigations Goodson Nguni is a fugitive from justice who is wanted in South Africa to answer charges of defrauding his former employer, the South African Post Office (Sapo), in the Eastern Cape region of over R500 000.

Nguni , who has been very active in the Anti-corruption crusade, has always been accused of being a corrupt person who uses his position to clamp down political opponents.

Anti corruption whistleblower Prisca Mutema is President Mnangagwa's henchman who protects the loyal and hammer those deemed as betrayers.

"Goodson Nguni  is probably the most corrupt anti-corruption official in the world.  Nguni is central to protecting corrupt Ministers like Supa  Mandiwanzira from prosecution," Mutema says.

"His case is central to testing Mnangagwa's resolve to really fight corruption. Goodson Nguni was convicted of fraud and corruption in South Africa in 1999 - Case No. 2529/99, High Court of South Africa, South Eastern Cape Division

"When Mnangagwa was Vice President, he held several meetings with Nguni in which they discussed charging Professor Jonathan Moyo with corruption and abuse of office relating to the ZIMDEF funds. He is very close to the President as a result. But he was appointed to his current position by Former President Mugabe.

"His appointment to the Anti-Corruption Commission in Zimbabwe is illegal, as per the Anti-Corruption Commission Act of Zimbabwe  - Chapter 9:22. Nguni has wrecked havoc by using his position to shield corrupt people and politicians.

"Supa Mandiwanzira's case was reported to him in 2016 and instead he went to Supa and asked to be paid off. Supa instructed parastatals under him to advertise in Nguni's Midlands newspapers at  vastly inflated prices.

"When Mnangagwa took over as President, expelled Netone CEO Reward Kangai reported the cases again. This time, Supa arranged for Metbank to give Nguni a loan of several hundred thousand dollars to keep him quiet. Nguni then caused the arrest of Kangai, the whistleblower.

"All of Nguni s arrests are politically motivated. The only arrests are those who have fallen out of favour with people in high offices and extorts the ones who have not, so that he can spare them investigation and arrest.

"The President's Anti-corruption office has a dossier submitted on this Nguni and we want to see if they will now act. The newspapers and journalists in Zimbabwe have the same information but have chosen not to investigate Nguni s corrupt activities in Zimbabwe.

"Nguni met one of Supa's people at a local restaurant on Thursday last week and he was asked to protect Supa yet again on his return from China, since his arrest was imminent. Nguni could not help, because  the case is now  handled directly by the Presidential Anti Corruption Unit."
