A Harare bus operator shot and injured a man over $30.
Gladmore Musanhi, who has interests in Musanhi passenger buses shot Callisto Magombedze in an argument over an additional $30 for carrying an engine to a forklift that had been hired.
Musanhi was assisting cops with investigations at Glen Norah Police Station at the time of going to print. The shooting incident occurred last night at Musanhi's garage near High Glen Shopping Centre.
A source privy to what transpired claimed that Musanhi contracted Magumbedze and his friends to carry the engine for $50 and the fracas occurred when the hired hands changed goal posts over the payment.
"Magombedze and his friends agreed to carry the engine for $50, but later demanded $30 more saying the job was worth $80.
"Musanhi stuck to initial offer prompting the hired men to block his way with metal sheets when he wanted to leave the premises.
"The argument persisted prompting Musanhi to take a gun with which he shot Magombedze below the ear," said an eyewitness who requested anonymity. He was rushed to Harare Central Hospital, where, he was receiving treatment last night.
