Woman disappears after receiving job offer from stranger

A Chitungwiza man is looking for his 24-year-old wife, Providence Fungai Kanyanyi and three-year-old daughter, Nyashadzashe, who went missing on 1 April. Fungai left their home along with her daughter after she received a phone call from a stranger informing her that she has found a job in town.
She then decided to go to her uncle's place in Mufakose and went back to town the following day to finalise the issue of her job. She never returned home and her phone is unreachable to date. Fungai's husband and father of the minor, Claudius Marungise described the disappearance as shocking.
"I am very worried because it's now a month since the two went missing. I tried my best but to no avail, I have been to our rural homes but she is nowhere to be found. Anyone who has my wife and my daughter, please bring bring back my family. They are innocent and I now leave everything to the Almighty," he said.
Anyone with information to the whereabouts of the duo will be rewarded with US$50. Claudius stays at House No. 1136 Unit G, Chitungwiza and his mobile number is 0735924843.
