ZimPF officially joins MDC

Following the decision by our Presidium to fold our party and join MDC, today we handed back the offices that were graciously donated to our party for use as our Headquarters. I am aware there are many in our party who are against the disbandment of our party. However, our Presidium is of the view that the majority of our members favour that we join the MDC. We have seconded five of our members to the MDC National Executive Council. As for me, I have refused any position in the MDC.
Let any of our members who wish to join the MDC do so out of their own volition. Those who wish the ZimPF brand to continue, it is your democratic choice and I respect it.
I have decided to step down as President of ZimPF but will continue on a caretaker basis to keep and protect ZimPF records until a new leader is chosen.
I give all of you my sincere appreciation for the support you gave me when I was President of ZimPF and pray that the ideals that made us form our party will not be lost and forgotten.
