Mutsvangwa's ministry invites all media stakeholders to roundtable discussions

The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services is inviting all media stakeholders, particularly the media, civil society, advertising agencies, academics and other interested parties to roundtable discussions to amend and realign media laws with the Constitution.

Below is an invite which was sent out today:

The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services invites all interest groups in the media industry to roundtable discussions towards contributing, to the amendment and realignment of media laws to the Constitution.

The roundtable discussions will be held at Compensation House 11th Floor Boardroom on the following dates:

Print Media and Publishing Houses - 26 November 2018

TV and Radio Broadcasters - 27 November 2018

Civic Media Organizations & Special Groups - 28 November 2018

Advertising Agencies and Online Publishers - 29 November 2018

Academics and interested parties - 30 November 2018

Interested parties in the media industry are free to submit write-ups of their contributions towards the amendment and realignment of the media laws to the Constitution to the following address:
