Today Zimbabweans joined the first family in celebrating his excellency the President Robert Gabriel Mugabe's 87th birthday
Zanu-PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo said told the state media, ZBC News that the President's 87th birthday was an occasion of celebration not only for the party but for all Zimbabweans.
Ambassador Moyo also said celebration should be a moment of stock taking for the country's youth who are tasked with emulating the excellent leadership qualities of Cde Mugabe.
Even though the state media propaganda puts a positive spin on the celebrations, the majority of Zimbabweans are disillusioned. Many people would like to see Mugabe resign and a regime change.
