Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa has denied reports that he has re-joined ZANU PF. The reports came after Temba Mliswa was seen wearing ZANU PF regalia at a rally held in Zvimba over the weekend.
"The beauty of being an Independent is having the freedom to support the good in each party. I was looking forward to my invite to the last MDCA event but nothing came...hopefully next time I'll get the chance to wear red." Mliswa said.
Mliswa courted controversy after social media users accused him of being a flip floper by posing as an Independent by day and acting as a ZANU PF member by night.
Recently a South African based Radio Disc Jockey Stanley Dube (known as Wildfire Deejay) has accused Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa of being President Mnangagwa's henchman who lynches the presidents political opponents.
"Temba was and is still an Independent MP. Such an important Portfolio would not ordinarily be donated to anyone outside of Zanu PF unless a deal had been cut?
"His loyalty to President Mnangagwa who is his relative is not doubted, so Temba is safe hands to protect and advance Mnangagwa's partisan interests when it comes to issue related to mines and energy."
Temba Mliswa is related to former ZANU PF stalwart Didymus Mutasa and has been accused of abusing that relationship to engage in corrupt activities and accumulate wealth.
